March 2024: Kettle Falls Historical Center, HBC Ft Colvile, Indian Agency Cabin, NeWGS, Stevens County Historical Society, Deer Park/Clayton, Research.
April 2024: Long description of Bicentennial preparations, improvements at the Indian Agency Cabin, Kettle Falls City records at Cheney, help needed at Evergreen Cemetery, finishing touches on Gallo House, Clayton stag mosaic, Grange convention in June.
May 2024: Visit by Jeremy Rogers of Big Horn Media; gravel delivered to the Indian Agency Cabin; visitor numbers are up; NewGS seminar September 21st will have a THN table; Northport Museum is 85% done and has a $30,000 budget to work with.
June 2024: KFHC getting new carpet and new doors but still not ready to open; Arts Washington scavenger hunt at SCHS; gravel has been flattened out; 12 classes scheduled for NewGS September seminar; Northport Museum/Visitor Center getting drywall upstairs and a new door; new Leno Prestini from Clayton and Eagle Cover is under construction.
July 2024: There is a lot going on and several addedumns were added to the minutes after the meeting. Grist millstones will remain inside the KFHC. The Colvile Confederated Tribes will help guide presentations for the HBC Fort Colvile Bicentennial. Inchelium Cultural Resource Center is 1 year old. The Indian Agency Cabin now has electrical service. NeWGS is asking potential participants in it;s September 21st Seminar. The cover for the Clayton Eagle is under construction.
August 2024: Move to make a model of the Columbia Boat. Salish language class at the Indian Agency Cabin on Sept 26th. Kettle Falls Council minutes digitized. Newspapers given to Stevens County Historical Society. Work getting done on Northport Welcome Center. The eagle cover at Clayton is done.
